Machine Translation Post Editing (MTPE)

Human translation has proved over the years to be more reliable and trustworthy when it comes to deliver a message across different languages and cultures. Recently, machine translation has found its way in the field with two major advantages: speed and cost. However, machine translation cannot produce the desired quality on its own, especially in some languages like the Arabic language and with certain text-types.

At CTS, we believe that the best approach is to have people and machines working together hand in hand and completing each other so our clients get the best of both worlds. Our team of post editors have the skills and abilities to deal with machine translation output and turn it into high-quality translations that meet our clients’ expectations.

During the post-editing process, our team:
• Make corrections in grammar and spelling errors.
• Intervene to correct major and critical style errors that impair text fluency.
• Check inconsistencies throughout the whole text.
• Check the terminology and numeric data.
