Subtitling

Subtitling needs translators with specific skills in order to be able to convey the correct message, linguistically and culturally within a specified span of time. Length restrictions make it obligatory that translators adapt translation to the screen display time. In a nutshell, translators should be able to say more with fewer words.

At CTS, we guide clients through all subtitling processes, beginning with time coding using industry standard programs, till the final synchronization of text along with the audio. We have the experienced translators that can respect the allowable length while still conveying the whole message effectively.
